A founder's note

A concise answer to why humAIne exists. For the fuller biography, see the Founder page.

Meet Martin

Technology should make us more human, not less.

AI changes how much one person can build. It does not change who must exercise judgement, accept consequence and remain accountable.

The short answer

Combine machine leverage with human responsibility—and use both to make clearer, more consequential decisions.

Why now

The tools changed. Responsibility did not.

I have always been drawn to the point where people, technology and business meet—not as abstractions, but as decisions with real consequences.

Agents can now search more broadly, connect more evidence, test more angles and help one person iterate at a scale that once required a team. That leverage is extraordinary. It also makes it easier to produce confident-looking work without a clearly accountable author.

humAIne is my answer to that tension. Use machines for reach and synthesis. Keep context, judgement and responsibility human. Publish enough of the thinking that the claims can be examined rather than merely admired.

The goal is not to imitate an institution. It is to build a better way for one human and many agents to think in public.

The name

The argument is built into humAIne.

The capitalised AI is visible, but it sits inside the human whole. That is the design constraint: make machine intelligence powerful and tangible without pretending it can carry moral or strategic accountability by itself.

Current build / 2026

Begin with the work that can be examined.

humAIne is a one-human, pre-incorporation venture. Its current state is research, positioning, the book and internal tools—not a live fund, advisory practice or operating team.

  1. 01

    Research

Building evidence-led views on business, technology and human development.

  2. 02

    Positioning

Making the thesis clear, specific and open to challenge.

  3. 03

    The book

Developing the long-form argument behind the venture.

  4. 04

    Internal tools

Creating agent systems that extend one human without obscuring accountability.

Long-term direction

Research first. Operating work later. Active ownership only when the foundation is real.

The ambition connects business, technology and human development. The present claim is deliberately narrower: build the intelligence, show the work and keep learning.
